miTrail: Become a Trip Detective with Your Trackers!
Ever wondered where your awesome miTrail trackers have been? Now you can be a trip detective with our powerful tools! This guide will show you how to view past journeys on a map, categorize them for clear expense management, and even leverage some time-saving features.
Unveiling the Trip History
- Spot your tracker on the list on the main map page.
- Click the handy three dots next to your chosen tracker to open its menu.
- Select "Trips" – this unlocks a history of recent adventures your tracker has been on.
Zooming in on Specific Dates:
Want to focus on a specific timeframe? No problem! Within the "Trips" section, you can use the filters to pick a desired date range. This makes it easy to see exactly where your tracker was on, say, that epic delivery run last week.
Visualizing Trips on the Map:
miTrail lets you be a map master! Here's how:
- 1) Trip Search: Search for trips directly on the map for "Today," "Yesterday," "This Week," and so on.
- 2) Show Trip as Line (Optional): Want to see the exact route your tracker took? Click this button to visualize the trip path on the map.
- 3) Search and View Trips: Once you've chosen a date range, click "Search" to populate the map with those trips. Select a specific trip to see its details right there on the map.
Classifying Trips: Business or Personal? You Decide!
Keeping track of expenses is a breeze with miTrail! Once you've viewed the trip history, you can categorize each trip as "Business" or "Personal." Simply find the trip you want to classify and tap the appropriate option within the trip details.
Auto-Classifying Trips: Save Time and Stay Organized
miTrail is all about efficiency! When setting up a geofence (a virtual boundary), you can choose to automatically classify trips entering or exiting that zone as "Business" or "Personal." This is a super time-saver, especially for frequently visited locations.
By mastering trip history, classification features, and auto-classification, you can gain valuable insights into how your trackers are being used. This translates to smoother fleet operations and simplified expense management – all within the amazing miTrail platform!
